We're beginning a new post series called Chemex of the Week. It will cover the coffees we're drinking or tasting here at the Joyride Office. These posts are designed for coffee drinkers of all experience levels, so if you are a true nerd, you will probably know some of the information. That being said, may highlight some good choices for your next Single Origin purchase.
Considering it's miniscule size, Lucid Café is incredibly busy. They have coffee, along with other pastries and smoothies. I bought a mocha. It was so good!
It's hard to believe, but considering Perk Kafé is only a few blocks away from Grand Central Station, this little coffee spot is surprisingly laid back and serene.
The Birch Coffee location I visited the other day was a hidden gem in the office-ridden Midtown Manhattan. It's a relatively small café, where they serve both food and coffee. It was quite busy as well, with people having business meetings and a family eating dinner.
