Although this coffee shop doesn't necessarily use any of our coffee, it is one of the most popular, busy coffee shops in Manhattan. Located in the East Village, it is impossible to miss. It is covered in bright designs like the one above, and Christmas light lettering. There are windows all along the café, which create a well-lit interior. Inside is quite large, with plenty of tables to do work, and it's bustling enough that you can meet and talk with friends.
The menu is quite diverse and eccentric, with macarons as colorful as the shop's exterior to a drink called the NutElla Fitzgerald, a combination of nutella, espresso, and milk, with a large illustration of Ella Fitzgerald. I ordered this but replaced the regular milk with almond milk, my new favorite liquid asset. The almond milk really made the drink as good as it was. The nutella didn't hurt either.
