What was your first memory of coffee?
When I was in third grade I was a good 4 inches taller than the next tallest person in my class. I hated my height and held a strong belief that if I slouched, no one would notice the giant in the back of the class with terrible posture. I remember all of my friends talking about how they were not allowed to drink coffee because it would stunt their growth. All I could think was, "What is this nectar of the gods, and where can I get some?!”
Education?
I am a Computer Science major at Dartmouth College.
Have you worked in coffee before?
I worked at an ice cream store throughout high school. We had a different soft serve flavor each day (my boss made each one himself), and everyone came in on Fridays because the flavor was coffee.
Pet Peeves?
When people say, “you know?” as a filler multiple times in a sentence. Yes, I do know.
Favorite Book?
A Walk In The Woods - Bill Bryson
What kind of music do you listen to?
My music choice is eclectic at best. I like to collect random songs I hear from friends, my parents’ records, or some random restaurant, and hoard them on a massive playlist until I have 20 hours of music and start over. But, it will always have Beyoncé. All hail Queen B.
How do you take your coffee?
With a little skim milk, but this can be quite embarrassing at the office, so lately I drink it black.
