Our support for the crisis in Ukraine

Like you, our hearts here at Joyride Coffee are breaking for the people of Ukraine. They have displayed incredible courage and resolve these past two weeks, but they will need to continue to lean on others for strength and support. Watching these advances into Ukraine has left many of us feeling helpless. Joyride may not be the biggest beverage company, but we're also not the kind that is comfortable sitting on the sidelines.

We've made the decision to donate $5 from every bag of coffee we sell at www.drinkjoyride.com to the Voices of Children Foundation which provides psychological support, and now evacuation assistance, to the children and families of Ukraine. We encourage you to learn more about the work they have been doing since 2015 and how they are supporting families today.

The donation of $5 per bag will continue all the way through the end of May. We are grateful if you choose to join us in these efforts, but we know this isn't the only way to help. Whatever you can do, or whatever cause you choose to support, is a personal choice. We're simply asking that you consider taking action now, in whatever way makes the most sense for you.

PS: At Joyride, we strive to live by our values. Integrity and Transparency are two values we hold dear. To be clear, this effort is in no way a profit driver for Joyride, in fact it is very unlikely that we'll even be covering our costs. But of course that's not the point. Whether you choose to participate in our efforts or not, we'd also be grateful if you could share this message with others. Our hope is that other businesses, with much greater scale than Joyride, will follow along with programs of their own and together we can make a meaningful impact.
